Juan Muñoz-Oca
HEAD WINEMAKER
Raised in Mendoza, Argentina, Juan inherited his lifelong passion for wine from his grandfather, a cellar master at Bodegas Toso winery (Juan picked his first grapes at age eight). For the last 13 years, he’s been at Columbia Crest crafting some of the most highly-acclaimed wines ever produced in Washington, including the 2005 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon named “Wine of the Year” in 2009 by Wine Spectator magazine.
